I don’t really know where to begin with this movie, except that it was really really really damn good. I was never a fan of Rooney Mara, but she was exceptional in this. I’m converted. I like her. I can’t believe this movie flopped in box office because people would rather see Mission Impossible 4 instead of this. Wrong move, obviously. I’m hoping for a 2nd and 3rd movie as well. Also, I’ve read reviews saying that the original/first version was better, so I’d gladly see that one too and compare. But for now, I’m just going to stick with the fact that Rooney Mara was fucking amazing as Lisbeth Salander. That is all.

Sucker Punch | 2011
So I just came from a day out with Grazie and Migo, we went to see Sucker Punch and although people have been saying they hated it or just plain out didn’t like it, I decided to see for myself. I never judge movies until I’ve seen it because let’s face it, not everyone has the same taste in movies.
Personally, I LOVED THE MOVIE. Although I’ve never read the comics so I can’t really judge if it was a good adaptation but I really liked the movie especially for it’s cinematography. I also think people didn’t appreciate it as much because it’s just not their kind of movie. Sucker Punch was the kind where it had meanings, it wasn’t just about a crazy psycho girl who fought and did impossible stunts and yadda yadda. It was more than that. It was about fighting your own demons, sacrifice, love, etc etc. IT WAS DOWNRIGHT BADASS. I really hate going into detail about movies to avoid spoilage, so I wont. LOL
I especially loved the beginning of the movie the most. The colors, the music, the acting, the scenes and how they were filmed… AAAHHH AMAZZZZIIIINNNGGG.
I’ve decided I’ll either go as BABYDOLL or SWEETPEA for Halloween. By then, I’ll know how to sew my own clothes so it shouldn’t be too hard. I just need a platinum blonde wig then I’m all set ;)

Never Let Me Go | 2010
Sufficiently depressing. I won’t write a lengthy review because I just might end up spoiling it for you, but I really loved this movie. Carey Mulligan was amazing in it, as well as Andrew Garfield (especially his acting towards the end, I cried. He made me cry ok). I was never a fan of Kiera Knightley but she did amazing as well.
I’d give it an 8.5 out of 10.

Whip It (2009)
I just finished watching this movie, because Chang recommended it and also because it has Ellen Page and Drew Barrymore (Who also happens to be the director of the movie) in it. I LOVE THE MOVIE. SO MUCH. I LOVE IT.
I also have my own Roller Derby name, which some of you know me as ever since before… Camie Chaos. Hahahaha.
