Gab & Our Relationship

#1 If I may ask, when did gab start courting you? And how long did it take for you to agree to go out with him? :) I’m sorry, but you guys definitely make a really cute couple!

I’m not sure when he started “courting” me, but I suppose around the time he was asking me out all the time and I didn’t want to date so I just kept saying no. Well, I didn’t say no as in, “No” but I’d put it off as much as possible. I had a happy crush on him, but I didn’t want to ruin anything and mostly I was afraid of falling, because I knew I would. I agreed to go out with him after a month or so of him always asking me out, and our first date was so much fun… Seriously, without a doubt, the best date I’ve ever been on :) And thank you! :)

#3 Do you and Gab fight? If you do, how long does it take? I mean, do you not talk to each other and stuff?

Gab and I haven’t had a real fight. We’ve had petty arguments like when I get jealous and stuff (HAHAHAH) but nothing big. We always fix it before the day ends. What I love about Gab and I is that we always communicate. If something bothers us, we always say it to the other person. There is no mind reading or “you’re just supposed to know when something is wrong or if you did something wrong.” it’s more of “You did something wrong and I’m telling you so we could fix it” :)

I actually cannot remember!! I usually try out every font I have before settling on something that I like. I suggest googling THIN fonts to find fonts such as this :)

I used to listen to The Maine and All Time Low around 2009 but I grew out of it… My music taste is very different now :)

OF COURSE I HAVE!!! It was heartbreaking, and I hated the fact that it was so realistic. You have The Notebook and then you have Blue Valentine… And it sucks because Blue Valentine is what is most likely to happen in real life.

If it hurts a lot, then it’s probably something you shouldn’t dwell on for so long. You’re right, you’re an OPTION. Why settle for that? He should be the option, not you. Stop wasting your time with a shit guy like him. If he can cheat on his girlfriend now, what more with you? The chances are like 90% of him cheating on you like he cheated on her. I say move on from him, and find someone who will be a much better for you, who will treat you like you deserve to be treated, someone who picks you because you’re you and not because he’s unhappy with his relationship and you’re the 2nd option if it doesn’t work out with his girlfriend.

The number one rule in blogging: STAY TRUE TO YOURSELF. A lot of people would rather read genuine entries and thoughts from people rather than fake ones that are written in hopes of gaining more readers. We all start out small, you know? Even I had barely any readers before. But the key to getting yourself out there is to promote yourself. Post your URL on Facebook/Twitter. Write about interesting things that you love. Write about your passions. Write about anything! Patience is also key. Don’t give up! :)

When you lose something that means so much to you.

I know, that sounded so emo, but I’m not speaking of a person, more of a thing that holds sentimental value.

Last year when Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part two showed, Gab surprised me with center seats for IMAX on the first day of screening. I remember going home from the gym, all tired and out of it, and finding a white envelope on the bed with my name on it. I opened it and two tickets fell out, with a letter from Gab that had doodles of a bear and a cake on it. It was a thing we had as friends, like a nickname we had for each other. That instantly turned my night around. Gab led me to believe for days and days that all tickets were sold out everywhere, so two center seat tickets were the least of my expectations. Anyway, I am 100% sure I kept the letter because 1.) I’m not a cold hearted bitch to throw it away and 2.) It was really cute and I tend to keep things like that. But now I have no idea where it is.

Another thing I lost was the card from the cake Gab surprised me with one morning. I opened the fridge to check for food, even though I knew what was already in there, out of habit I guess, and found a box of Mango Bravo from Conti’s with a card on it from Gab saying that this was the cake he wanted me to try and since it was Kimi’s birthday in a few days, it was for her as well (though they haven’t met that time!). I kept that card, and I’m pretty sure I placed it in my wallet but nope, it’s not there anymore.

I suck at these things and I still hope to find it somewhere in my room or at Kimi’s house. Those were all such sweet things Gab did for me before we were anything, and I just want them back.

I’m quite furious because even though I have a nice camera, have some ~funsh000ts~ with my cousins, I would never say that I am a model or a photographer (not even amateur photographer) because I believe that those are for professionals or those who are highly talented in that area. I don’t really care for it, if I do come across someone who claims to be a model or photographer when they clearly arent, I would think they’re being idiots but whatever, you know? If they want to call themselves that, then let them.

Nope. I’m 53 kg and it’s the right weight for my height. Check online for the proper weight for your height and you’ll know what’s healthy or not.

I’m not taking Fine Arts so I wouldn’t know what they do there, I didn’t even know we had a Fine Arts course. Anyway, since you’re a freshman you’ll end up with general subjects only.

Generally, I think they both make for good best friends. It’s really your preference. I had both but I had a better relationship with my guy best friends because first off, they’re not judge-y like girls are and there’s always less drama when it comes to guy friends. It’s okay to not have a best friend in HS, but it’s good to have a close group of friends. Maybe you’ll meet your best friend in college :)

College. I love college to death. Whoever says high school is the time of your life is so wrong and prolly never had fun in College. LOL

#14: Hi, ever experienced being bullied by someone who’s older than you. I mean waaaay older, around 50’s? He’s a leader in an organization where I belong and he does things to bring me down, for example when I told him about my job, he would tell other people that that kind of job sucks and working in that kind of company is not good. :( I just realized he would always contradict me whenever we are having group meetings. Kinda sucks. :/

My only advice to give you is that you should always stay true to yourself despite his actions, and when you’ve gathered up the courage, talk to him after your meetings and tell him/ask him nicely about why he always contradicts you and how it makes you feel. Approach it in a way where he won’t think you’re being disrespectful, but merely speaking your mind. He might start to respect you after that for being courageous enough to bring up the issue. Good luck!

When I was taking up minor subjects, A LOT. But with majors, I never do because majors are the most important subjects. If I miss a class, I’m get way behind by a whole week and it’s stressful trying to catch up.

Lazy day dressing up is the only way to go when I dress up for school, but I always make up for it by either wearing nice shoes, or a nice top, etc etc. I was originally wearing my brown oxford heels from Forever21, but eventually my feet gave up (Like most normal girls do, I seriously don’t know how some girls can wear 6 inch heels and not feel any pain whatsoever. Freaks.) so I switched to flats when Gab and I got to The Fort.

I’ve been wanting thick full bangs ever since before, much like Zooey Deschanel’s or Florence Welch’s, but obviously I have curly hair and if I get full bangs, I’d have to either get it straightened out or something. But over-all, I’m more of afraid I won’t be able to carry the look, or if I do, I’ll get more questions regarding my nationality… this time asking if I’m Korean or something. I already look sort of Korean sometimes and this hairstyle will definitely make people question me. LOL

On living like a hermit, and training for the real world

Classes resume on Monday and I have to go back to my sort-of-complicated-but-not-really living situation, aka an unwilling hermit. Living all the way in QC and having to study all the way in Taft is the biggest hassle ever. I’d have to leave 2 hours before classes for an hour commute and that depends on how much traffic (and by traffic I mean human traffic, most of them get pretty rowdy and pushy on train platforms so I stand back and let them get on and wait for a less packed train. Anyway.) there is on the road, which is why I give myself the other hour for allowance. I’d have to take two train rides and walk from the station to my building, which I know isn’t very far, but by the time I get to school I look like I ran a marathon or something. I did this for about a few months during my first year in college, and I ended up getting sick. And so the obvious solution was to live somewhere near my school. That worked for about two years, and I had an awesome time living by myself and having a taste of freedom and independence. I then moved in with Kimi’s family all the way in the south which is an amazeballs living situation because I get to be with family, have fun, and I don’t have to worry about food or laundry.

This situation works out perfectly fine except for the fact that I’m going to be starting bigger and much more tedious projects for the next 3 terms, thus needing the space and less distractions to actually get some work done. So tomorrow, I’ll be going to my grandpa’s condo near school, he has the 2nd floor of his apartment completely unused, and he’s letting me stay there. I need to check it out and plan when to move in. I will be getting the taste of independence again (sort of, my parents still support me lol), which is good because:

It’s training for the real world - Cooking myself food, doing my own laundry, cleaning my own place, budgeting my weekly allowance, etc etc.
Being away from my home means I’m away from my parents, which means I keep in contact with them through texts. For some reason, this gives us a much better relationship because I’m way more open through texting than face to face interactions.
It’s a way of showing my parents that I can be responsible and so if ever I plan to move out when I’m ready after college, they won’t be so scared. (My mom is already trying to get me to leave, so I think it’s just my dad who needs a bit more convincing)

It kind of scares me because I’ve gotten used to having everything I need within reach, and living alone (sort of alone) will limit that. Overall though, I’m pretty excited! I can’t wait to fix up my room and prepare my work area for school projects.

#4: I would really really love to be as comfortable as you are with your body. But I have no idea how. I’m chunky and I don’t have the curves chunky girls usually have. It saddens me.. I want to be confident and wear all the stuff I have. Seeing my body naked just makes my confidence plummet to the ground.

Sweetie, you need to focus on what matters the most and it’s not what society says or what other people say/think! Society has brainwashed us to think that unless you’re stick thin then you’re not beautiful. Well, let me tell you this, being stick thin isn’t always a good look either. You know what looks good? Being comfortable in your own skin. If you focus on feeling good about yourself and having a “Fuck what others think! I’m beautiful!” mantra, then the good will shine through you, you’ll feel good and look good. So wear what you want to wear, do what you want to do, skinny or chubby, tall or small, what does it even matter? you’re a woman dammit! And we’re all made different! You may not fit into what society defines as “beautiful” but society is fucked up, why listen to fucked up people?

Maybe you need to focus on the good instead of the negative. The way I see it, if the positive side doesn’t out weigh the bad then it’s really time to re-evaluate your relationship and have a heart to heart with your boyfriend.

My hair is under the “red hair” category, so I’m not entirely sure if Kisty knows hair all that well if she doesn’t know what shades fall under red hair. Her hair is literally red hair, but mine’s more on the rich red shade that looks more natural. Well, it’s really about how comfortable you are with your decision. True, you could be wasting your time but usually first year of college is mostly general subjects (minors) and no majors yet, so you’ve got time to think about what you want in life. Look for a course that interests you most and then go for it. Even if you don’t think you want it for the rest of your life, you’ll never know unless you try! College is the time of your life! Go out there and discover yourself! :)
