I plan to take up Fashion Design too, but I can’t sketch that well… Any tips?

I suggest practicing! I didn’t really know how to sketch all that well either, but you’ll have sketching classes to hone your skills. Doodle when you have free time, look at photos of clothing and try to copy how they look and how they fall, etc. Practice helps a lot! So get to it!

I’m not half anything, and yes I’m Pinay, baby! Haha I don’t “look” Filipino because I inherited some traits from my Irish and Native American roots. I’m hardly either, though.

How do you take care of your hair, especially since you use hair curler/straightener all the time?

I wash my hair every other day, to keep its natural oils. The hair needs its natural oils and shampooing every day strips it away. Also, before I use my straightener, I put heat protection spray. You can find one by Citre Shine in groceries/Watsons/etc! :)

What is Nuffnang?/Do you earn with Nuffnang?

Nuffnang places blog ads on your blog and it earns you extra cash, but it depends on your site traffic .

How do you deal with haters?

I’ve been a blogger for about 5-6 years now and I’ve come across A LOT of them, different kinds even… Usually haters are just people who are unhappy with their lives so they try to bring others down. I keep in mind that you can’t please everyone, and so if someone doesn’t like me, that’s not my problem. Sometimes I ignore their hate messages, sometimes I reply… It all depends on my mood. I don’t let haters affect me because I don’t need their approval for anything. THIS is MY life and what they say or think is none of my business, just as much as my life isn’t their business in the first place! 

I want to take up fashion design but I don’t know how to sketch/draw, will they teach you that in college?

The main point of going to college is to learn, so of course they will teach you everything you need to know. Although, it WILL help if you practice on your own and learn a thing or two… It will definitely be to your advantage so you won’t have a hard time with lessons and such. Also, some profs will expect you to know things so in case you’re totally lost in class, you always have your classmates to help guide you. Don’t worry, college is awesome! And to be quite honest, sometimes I’m still completely lost but that’s part of the fun! Experience and making mistakes and learning valuable lessons in the process :)

Where do you watch/download movies/shows?

Torrents. Google the show/movie and add torrent at the end of the title. (ex. The Social Network torrent). Easy peasy.

What kind of make-up do you use? What brand?

Different brands. I use Max Factor for foundation, Sephora for blush/eyeshadow, Elf for eyeshadow, Neutrogena for under eye concealer and as for mascara I use Maybelline’s Colossal. I swear by it!

Can you do a hair/make-up tutorial?

Unfortunately, I do not have the time. I suggest you go to youtube and search for tutorials there, there are tons! :)

How do you edit/post-process your photos?

It really depends, once I edit a photo, I can never really edit it the same exact way with the next ones unless I edit them all at the same time. I always play around with effects, curves, layers, the colors, etc.
